Deep Fried Camembert (for 4)
Ingredients
200g camembert
1 cup plain flour
2 eggs beaten with 1 tablespoon milk
1½ cups dry breadcrumbs
Oil for deep frying
Sauce, relish or chutney of your choice for serving
Method
1. Cut cheese into 12 wedges.
2. Toss well in flour, dip in beaten egg and then in breadcrumbs.
3. Repeat the egg and breadcrumbs process to get a good thick coating.
4. Quickly deep fry in hot oil until crumbs are golden.
5. Serve immediately with sauce or chutney of your choice.
Serve on a bed of shredded lettuce with sauce, chutney or relish.
